The present invention is a coating method in which the mechanical effect and the thermochemical reactions participate in surfaces of alloys susceptible to oxidation. The process consists in depositing fine powders of aluminum oxide in the surface of an alloy through a cotton drill bit. The drill is rotated at a high speed over the alloy so that increasing the temperature thereof and allowing the powders to be deposited and diffused in the metallic substrate. Finally, to complete this process, the coated piece is exposed to a laser treatment generating a thermochemical reaction, which results in a coating with suitable tribological properties for: industrial, Aerospatiale, chemical and medical applications.
|
