<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To start remote medical care through video telephones between a patient and a doctor by using terminals for video telephones to display health data on screens without requiring complicated authentication operation. <P>SOLUTION: The remote medical support system includes: a terminal 9 for a doctor-side video telephone which transmits outgoing and incoming call IDs and a type of health data required for medical care, which are notified through a telephone of a doctor 1; a terminal 11 for a patient-side video telephone which transmits outgoing and incoming call IDs notified through a telephone of a patient and health data collected about a patient specified by one of the outgoing and incoming call IDs; and a server 13 which preserves health data of a patient 5 and transmits the health data required for medical care of the patient 5 to both of the terminals for video telephones. The server 13 establishes a connection between both of the terminals for video telephones on the basis of outgoing and incoming call IDs received from both of the terminals for video telephones, and both of the terminals for video telephones start a video telephone sequence while displaying the health data required and available for medical care of the patient 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
