<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stamping device that has high sealability of an ink case when not stamping, and when stamping, is easy to alienate the stamping plate from the ink case, is easy in stamping operation, and can absorb unevenness of the stamping surface. <P>SOLUTION: The stamping device includes: an ink case that incorporates an ink pad and has an opening toward the lower side; and a stamping container that reverses in vertical direction while sliding in vertical direction to the ink case. The container has: a switching magnet that is on-off switchable by magnetic force on an ink case side; and a switching means that performs, when not stamping, suction or pressure sealing between a stamping part and the ink case opening of the stamping container using magnetic force as the switching type magnet is in an on state, and that performs when stamping, switching so that the switching type magnet becomes an off-state.
