<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elution-reducing material excellent in control action for elution of heavy metals and the like, and to provide a method for production of such an elution-reducing material. <P>SOLUTION: The elution-reducing material is formed by light-burning a mineral including magnesium carbonate as a main component and contains a light-burned product having a BET specific surface area of 5-10 m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>/g and the peak radius of pore diameter distribution within a range of 10-20 nm. The method for production of the elution-reducing material includes burning the mineral containing magnesium carbonate as a main component at 650-1,000°C, finishing the burning at the time when the weight reduction rate by burning becomes 9-20% to obtain a light-burned product, and then preparing the elution-reducing material using the light-burned product. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
