<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking support device capable of properly presenting a parking frame that permits own vehicle to be parked to a user. <P>SOLUTION: The parking support device detects a linear road mark drawn on a road surface, included in a downward shot image converted from an image surrounding own vehicle. If a plurality of the linear road marks is detected, the device calculates a parallelism relative to other detected linear road marks, with respect to each of a plurality of the linear road marks. If a parallelism calculated by a parallelism calculating means is equal to or greater than a predetermined threshold, the device varies the threshold depending on a presence position of the linear road mark in the downward shot image, when it is determined that a parking frame that permits own vehicle to be parked is in the downward shot image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
