<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite spinneret in which the hole packing density of island component extrusion holes can be increased, and which can prevent island component streams from merging with each other and can maintain high dimensional stability of various fiber cross-sectional shapes; and to provide a method for producing composite fibers using the same. <P>SOLUTION: A composite spinneret includes: distribution plates in which the number of distribution holes increases toward the downstream side of polymer streams, and distribution grooves 8 are formed so that distribution holes 7 positioned on the upstream side communicate with the distribution holes positioned on the downstream side; an upper layer plate 2 which is positioned on the downstream side of the distribution plates, and in which a plurality of sea component extrusion holes 4 communicating with the distribution holes and island component extrusion holes 1 more than the number of the sea component extrusion holes are formed; a middle layer plate 3 which is positioned on the downstream side of the upper layer plate, and in which a merging chamber 24 communicating with the island component extrusion holes and the sea component extrusion holes is formed to merge a sea component polymer with an island component polymer in such a way that the sea component polymer surrounds the outer periphery of the island component polymer, and thereby to form core-sheath type sea-island composite polymer streams; and a lower layer plate 5 which is positioned on the downstream side of the middle layer plate, and in which extrusion holes communicating with the merging chamber 24 are formed at such positions as to face the island component extrusion holes. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
