A jolt-squeeze moulding-machine comprises a support for the pattern, means for jolting the support, and squeezing-means carried by the support, so that the mould may be simultaneously jolted and squeezed without the jolting- action interfering with the squeezing action. The squeezing means comprises twenty-four piston-operated members 14 for differential squeezing, as described in Specification 845,172, which is referred to, and is supported on columns 9 which are attached to the patterntable 2 which is jolted by piston 26. |
