Improvements in touch sensitive displays

A touch sensitive display apparatus includes a sensor having an input array of electrodes (420) capacity coupled to output array of electrodes (410) and multiple reception circuits (1160). The reception circuits are operable to simultaneously receive a signal from different electrode of the output array of electrodes. The reception circuits each include an analogue to digital converter. The reception circuits may include a peak level detector and amplifier. Subsets of electrodes may be connected to separate reception circuits and this may be done in such a way as to interleave the electrodes.
