1. A liquid crystal display device comprising:
an array of pixels each having a memory function; a driving section that supplies a common voltage to a counter electrode of a liquid crystal capacitor, and supplies one of a first voltage and a second voltage to a pixel electrode of the liquid crystal capacitor, the first voltage being the same as the common voltage, the second voltage reversing polarity every predetermined period; and an adjusting section that adjusts an amplitude of at least the second voltage, wherein the adjusting section adjusts a voltage value on only a positive side of at least one of the first voltage and the second voltage to become higher than a voltage value on the positive side of the common voltage.
