1. An information processing apparatus wirelessly connectable to a presentation control apparatus and wirelessly connectable to a number of servers by way of a communication network, said information processing apparatus comprising:
a content acquisition unit to wirelessly acquire various content items via the communication network from a server and to wirelessly communicate with a content presentation control unit of the presentation control apparatus; an acquisition target content determination unit to determine an acquisition target content item which is a target acquired by the content acquisition unit among related content items related to a reference content item on the basis of processing performance of the content acquisition unit; and an acquisition processing unit to cause the content acquisition unit to acquire the acquisition target content item, in which the content acquisition unit is operable to communicate with the content presentation control unit to enable the presentation control apparatus to present the reference content item thereat.
