According to the present invention, a production method of PET staple fiber having low orientation and high elongation comprises the steps of: spinning a polyester polymer at the speed of 500-1,500 m/min into an undrawn yarn; stretching the undrawn yarn with a magnifying power of 0.9-2; forming 5 to 20 crimps per inch at the stretched fiber; and cutting the fiber into staple fibers having a length of 22-120 mm, wherein the staple fibers has the breaking elongation of 200-600%, the dry shrinkage of 20-70% at 160°C, and the thickness of 2-15 denier. The polyester polymer can further contain, as a comonomer, 1-20 mole% of isophthalic acid (IPA) having an aromatic structure, diethylene glycol (DEG) having an aliphatic structure, or a mixture thereof. A production method of thermal adhesive non-woven fabric using PET staple fibers having low orientation and high elongation according to the present invention comprises: a supply step for releasing a bale of PET staple fibers having low orientation and high elongation by using a bale opening device to supply the staple fibers to a fine opening device; a staple fiber mixing step for uniformly distributing the supplied staple fibers to be transferred to a carding machine; a web forming step for forming webs having a predetermined size from the mixed staple fibers in a carding machine; a web laminating step for laminating the webs into multiple layers; and a fusion step for fusing the staple fibers to each other by passing them through a heat press under a high temperature and high pressure condition.
|
