The present invention relates to an apparatus to improve a propulsion efficiency of a ship, comprising: a first fixated plate arranged on the left side of a rear end of a hull having a propeller based on a center line of which one side is joined to a side of the hull; a second fixated plate arranged on the right side of the rear end of the hull based on a vertical center line facing the first fixated plate of which one side is joined to the side of the hull, and the other side of which comes in contact with the other side of the first fixated plate; and a guide plate bent in an opposite direction of a rotational direction of the propeller, and extended rearwards from the first or second fixated plate.
