<p>The method involves providing a subsystem (9) for toll transactions generating location of vehicle devices (3,3') by global satellite navigation (6) and another subsystem (11) for toll transactions generating location of vehicle devices by local toll post (2). Some vehicle devices are cooperated with both the sub-systems. The former subsystem produces no toll transactions (13) for road segments, where the latter subsystem takes into account in its toll transaction generation (14). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a road toll system with a subsystem; (2) a proxy for use in a subsystem of a road toll system; and (3) a toll transaction generating type vehicle device.</p> |
