In the present invention, disclosed is a liquid crystal display device. More particularly, the present invention relates to a laser diode package and a liquid crystal display device including the same, capable of improving luminous efficiency by replacing an LED which is widely used as a light source with the different kind of the light source. According to the embodiment of the present invention, provided is the liquid crystal display device capable of improving brightness and luminous efficiency in comparison with an existing liquid crystal display device by replacing the LED with a non-polarization property with a laser diode (LD) with a polarization property and implementing white as one device using a fluorescent substance.
