A repeater operation management method by network management system (NMS) server is provided, comprising steps of: receiving registration request on a repeater BTS interface unit (BIU); providing new BIU ID for the BIU which is requested to be registered, and registering identification information of the registration requested BIU and allocation IP information on the provided new BIU ID by mapping, if there exists no information same with the identification information of BIU which is requested to be registered from an existing BIU registration table, by comparing the identification information of the BIU which is requested to be registered and the BIU registration table registered previously; using the existing BIU ID if there exists information same with one of the BIU identification information which is requested to be registered from an existing BIU registration table, and storing the information, mapped to the existing BIU ID, by updating as identification information of the BIU which is requested to be registered and allocation IP information. |
