The present invention relates to a self payment system and method based on a motion and an object recognition technique in an image. The self payment system based on a motion and an object recognition technique in an image comprises: an image recording terminal (10) detachably mounted on an upper portion of a shopping cart (SC) to record an image inside the shopping cart (SC) and index product information corresponding to a barcode and a shape (product shape and image features) of a product to display and store a product purchase list if the barcode and the shape of the product is detected from the recorded image; and a smartphone (20) to receive the product purchase list from the image recording terminal (10) via NFC if an application installed thereon receives an NFC reception request signal, connect to an offline market payment server via the application to process a payment for the product purchase list if a payment request signal is received, and transmit a payment completion result to the image recording terminal (10) via NFC after processing the payment for the product purchase list. According to the present invention, an image recording device installed on an offline store shopping cart recognizes a barcode and a shape of a product and transmits recognized product information to a smartphone via NFC to simplify a product recognition process by bypass camera image recording to allow a user to conveniently load products in the shopping cart.
