The present invention provides a method and an apparatus to control a drive for a vehicle, comprising: an outdoor temperature measurement step of measuring an outdoor temperature of a vehicle; a calculation step of calculating a difference value between a wheel speed of a driving wheel and a wheel speed of a non-driving wheel in driveaway of a vehicle, in case an outdoor temperature is lower than a first reference temperature; and a control step of controlling an engine torque in the driveaway to be lower than the engine torque in a normal state. |
