<p>An apparatus to determine 3D depth information is disclosed. An apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention receives images following each of a plurality of focus distances in an auto focus section from a sensor unit, divides the images into multiple sections, calculates a focus value (FV) following a focus distance in the multiple sections, and determines depth information within an image by using the focus distance corresponding to the maximum value of FV in the multiple sections.</p> |
