<p>The present invention relates to a transmitting/receiving device of a DVI image and an audio signal comprising: a transmitting device for receiving a DVI signal which is a digital graphic image signal, the audio signal, and a data signal from a source apparatus, and transmitting the signals after a multiplexing process; and a receiving device for counter-multiplexing multiplexed data transmitted from the transmitting device, and outputting the counter-multiplexed data. The transmitting device comprises: an audio A/D converting portion for converting an analog audio signal into a digital audio signal by using an audio clock made by allocating a clock of the image signal inputted from the source apparatus; a multiplexing portion for multiplexing the DVI image signal which is inputted from the source apparatus, the digital data signal, and the digital audio signal, which is passed the audio A/D converting portion while producing a virtual frame by using virtual DE, Vsync, and Hsnyc signals in accordance with a standard external clock if there is no DVI image signal; a serial converter for converting the data multiplexed in the multiplexing portion and a control signal into serial data; and an optical transmitter for converting the serial data of the serial converter into an optical signal, and transmitting the optical signal to the receiving set through an optical line. According to the present invention, the transmitting/receiving device of a DVI image and an audio signal enables to transfer the audio or data signal together when inputting the image signal, and to transfer the audio or data signal although there is no input of the image signal.</p> |
