<p>The present invention relates to a piano education system, especially, a piano education system using a RGB-D camera and a method thereof, wherein the system detects a depth of a key pressed by a fingering of a user, checks a location of the key, and displays the location of the key identified in real time together with the saved music score, thereby enabling more effective education and a higher availability in an acoustic piano. The piano education system using the RGB-D camera of the present invention comprises: a camera for photographing a color (RGV) image and a depth image of a plurality of keys; a detection unit for detecting the location and the depth of each key by the photographed color (RGB) image and depth image; a setting unit for setting an initial location and depth of the key by using the detected location and depth of each key; a determination unit for comparing the initial location and depth of the set key with the location and depth of the pressed key by the user, and determining whether a key is pressed; and a display for displaying the determined result.</p> |
