<p>The present invention relates to an accident information transmission system and a method thereof, and more specifically, to a technology which makes it possible to provide accurate information on an accident occurrence situation by using roadside infra information and a telematics service when an accident occurs at an intersection. The accident transmission system according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a step of transmitting accident occurrence information to a vehicle information center when a car accident occurs; a step of requesting the time of the accident and infrastructure information on an accident spot by the vehicle information center delivering the accident occurrence information to a traffic management center; and a step of transmitting the infrastructure information to the pre-registered user once receiving the infrastructure information from the traffic management center.</p> |
