<p>The present invention relates to an apparatus to select a broadcast program through analyzing a sound source file and a method thereof, more specifically to an apparatus which databases the sound source file of a user and selects a preferable broadcast program for the user thereby, and a method thereof. Also the present invention comprises: a data management unit which classifies the MP3 file of a user as an item including one of the singer, the genre, and the title, and stores the frequency for the play of each item of the classified MP3 file as a database; a data decision unit which notifies a broadcast program recommended to a user, when there is a broadcast program including the data ranked in upper-bracket; and a broadcast output unit which obtains an output signal of the broadcast program recommended by the data judging unit from a user, and automatically outputs the broadcast program.</p> |
