<p>A cutting tool has a main tool body and at least one insert seat disposed thereon. The seat has a bottom surface for mounting a cutting insert, and further has a dowel pin, which penetrates a through-hole of the mounted cutting insert and the bottom surface and can be fixed to the main tool body. A center longitudinal axis of the fixed dowel pin is arranged at an acute angle with respect to the bottom surface. The dowel pin contains a spherical segment for mounting on a bearing surface of the through-hole. The surface of the spherical segment is interrupted by a segment groove.</p> |
