<p>The invention relates to new agomelatine cocrystals, consisting of agomelatine (N-[2-(7-methoxy-1-naphthyl)ethyl]acetamide) of formula (I)and an organic acid which is in a solid state at ambient temperature, having changed rate of dissolution of the active principle. At the same time, the acid is selected from the group formed of para-hydroxybenzoic, citric, oxalic, gallic, maleic, malonic, glutaric, glycolic or ketoglutaric acids.The invention also relates to processes for preparation of cocrystals, pharmaceutical compositions containing them and uses of prepared products in the treatment of disorders of the central nervous system.</p> |
