The invention relates to a mechanism for the vertical stabilization of a stairlift intended for old people or persons with locomotor disabilities. According to the invention, the mechanism consists of a toothed sector () made of three distinct pieces, i.e. a toothed segment (), a hub () guiding the toothed segment () and a support element () for the lower end of a tension member () which is fixed, by means of some screws () on one side or the other side of the hub () depending on the rolling track position along a stair, where the toothed sector () is arranged with the hub () about the shaft of a stabilizing rollers assembly () and oscillating inside an assembly of plane plates () separated from one another by means of some spacer bushings (), the said sector () engaging with a toothed wheel () located about an axle () of a drive pinion (), the upper end of the tension member () being fixed to a fixed point bearing the housing of a lift. |
