Provided is a device for producing a connected article (11a) which is produced by cutting out the connected article (11a) of individual packaged articles (11) which comprise a predetermined number of the individual packaged articles (11) from a connected body (11aa) of the individual packaged articles (11) in which a plurality of the individual packaged articles (11) in which absorbent articles (1) are individually enclosed are connected in a state of having been arranged side by side in an alignment direction with a perforated section (12ac) interposed therebetween. The present invention has the following: an identifying device for identifying from among the perforated sections (12ac) of the connected body (11aa) which is being conveyed with the alignment direction serving as the conveyance direction the perforated sections (12ac) targeted for cutting that correspond to the predetermined number; and a cutting out device (60) for cutting the connected article (11a) comprising the predetermined number of the individual packaged articles (11) from the connected body (11aa) being conveyed along the conveyance direction by cutting the perforated sections (12ac) identified by the identifying device.
