<p>Disclosed is a method for evaluating renal status in a subject not receiving renal replacement therapy, comprising: - performing one or more assays configured to detect HA in a body fluid sample obtained from the subject to provide one or more assay results, each assay result(s) comprising a measured concentration of HA in the body fluid sample; and - correlating the assay result(s) to one or more of risk stratification, prognosis, classifying and monitoring of the renal status of the subject, said correlating comprising comparing a measured concentration of HA to a threshold concentration of HA obtained from a population study.</p> |
