The present invention relates to an input current control method for a power supply device including a power switch, which comprises the stages of: generating input sensing current by integrating a sensing voltage which represents a switch current flowing in the power switch for switching period of the power switch; comparing the input sensing voltage, a certain reference voltage, and an input reference voltage determined according to the switching period; and controlling the switching operation of the power switch according to the result of the comparison.
