The present invention provides a device and method for cleaning parts requiring heat treatment to clean and dry metal parts in order to remove foreign substances and water-soluble rustproof liquid left on the surface of metal parts before nitriding heat treatment of metal parts can begin. The present invention includes two methods of cleansing: a method to put metal parts in a cleansing solution and rotate and a method to spray the cleansing solution in a high pressure in order to ensure thorough cleansing of metal parts requiring heat treatment. Also, since the cleaning device has a simple structure, the present invention may reduce the costs of equipment and maintenance expenses as well.
