<p>The method involves creating a side wing (23a) whose height corresponds to a depth of a groove (21), in a sheet metal part (20). An upper frame is vertically moved towards a lower frame. The lower frame is provided with a punch to support the sheet metal part. An edge of the sheet metal part closest to the side wing is raised for obtaining the groove including a bottom (22), the side wing and another side wing (23b). Protuberances (24, 25) projecting on an inner surface of one of the wings, are created on one of the wings by stamping. An independent claim is also included for a stamping press.</p> |
