The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for displaying compatibility of Bluetooth device whereby, particularly, compatibility of a smart device, capable of being connected by Bluetooth with a head unit in a vehicle, and information about functions, not provided, are displayed on the head unit in the vehicle. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus for providing compatibility information of the smart device connected by Bluetooth with the vehicle includes: a data managing module which stores compatibility tests results of distributed smart devices in a database; and a controlling module that requests the connected smart device to transmit information of the smart device for determining compatibility of Bluetooth when a certain smart device is connected with the vehicle, compares information, obtained from the smart device, with data, stored in the data managing module, and then determines whether Bluetooth is compatible with the smart device connected with the vehicle. |
