The present invention relates to a technology to use a directional antenna for extending the distance range of a marine broadband wireless communications device comprising an antenna operating part and an operation controlling part. In order to cover 360 degrees of omnidirection, an optimal communications link is connected in a configuration wherein several directional antennas are disposed in each direction according to azimuth angles, and in order to maintain the same, the direction of an antenna is searched and tracked to extend distance range.
