The present invention relates to a system and a method for managing a mashup service based on contents whereby the mashup service, which can infer a task related to contents a user is watching based on user profile information and executes the task. The present invention aims to improve a contents watching environment of a user by eliminating limits and drawbacks of providing contents in the prior contents playing environment.
