According to the present invention, a liquid crystal display device with a built-in touch screen. The liquid crystal display device includes: a color filter layer in which the touch screen is embedded on a substrate; a thin film transistor layer which is formed on the color filter layer and comprises an active layer, a gate electrode, a source electrode, a drain electrode, a pixel electrode, and a common electrode. The color filter layer includes: a black matrix formed on the substrate; a touch line formed on the black matrix; a bridge which is formed on the black matrix and the touch line; a touch insulation film formed on the bridge to expose a portion of the bridge; a plurality of first touch electrodes formed on the touch insulation film in a first direction; a plurality of second touch electrode formed in a second direction on the touch insulation film to be placed apart from the first touch electrodes; and an overcoat formed on the first touch electrodes and the second touch electrodes. The liquid crystal display device has a narrow bezel. The number of mask processes for the liquid crystal display device is reduced. Therefore, costs for manufacturing the liquid crystal display device can be reduced. |
