[Problem] To provide a paper holder for workspaces such as manufacturing factories which definitely holds a plurality of sheets of paper in a suspended state is appropriate for use holds paper in a highly visible manner and exhibits excellent user friendliness. [Solution] A paper holder is provided with: a case equipped with a front surface section (11) a rear surface section (13) for facing the front surface section with a space interposed therebetween and substantially parallel thereto an upper surface section (12) for connecting the front surface section and the rear surface section and an insertion opening (17) positioned between the front surface section and the rear surface section and into which paper is inserted from below; and a holding part (20) rotatably supported by a shaft support part (15) positioned inside the case (10) and provided with a blade (40) on which spring force is biased in the direction in which paper is withdrawn and which is positioned so as to project from the end on the front surface section side. The rear surface section (13) is provided with an extended length rear surface section (13c) formed so as to extend farther to the bottom side than the bottom side end section (11a) of the front surface section (11) and an angled surface section (14) extending substantially linearly when seen from a lateral view from the bottom side end section of the extended length rear surface section (13c) toward the direction of paper insertion.
