The fitting has an operation rod (7) acting on locking elements (6) that are fixed between a locking position and an unlocked position (9) against an action of an elastic return unit i.e. spring. A lift crutch (15) pushes the operation rod into the unlocked position against action of the elastic return unit over a final closing stroke of an opening frame by being engaged with a stop plate or strike plates (5, 5A). An end of the spring is connected to the operation rod, where another end of the spring is connected to a head that is fixedly connected to the opening frame.
