The present invention relates to a device for processing a screw thread of a lathe, which inserts a taper holder into a spindle installed on a tail stock of the lathe and allows a moving chuck for holding a tap while inserted into the taper holder to automatically process the screw thread using a simple structured jig, so that anyone can process the screw thread of constant pitch without special skills and thus improve the productivity. The invention installs the taper holder holding tools on the spindle of the tail stock of the lathe equipped with a head stock having a rotating chuck, a tool post holding tools and the spindle to form a deep hole on the taper holder and a female screw on a guide rod of the moving chuck, which is inserted into a guide groove of the taper holder and then connects a bolt inserted into the deep hole of the taper holder to the female screw on the guide rod, so that the moving chuck holding tools can move in the axial direction without a hitch. |
