<p>The invention relates to an underground platform for collecting wastes in public spaces and in the vicinity of dwelling houses. According to the invention, the platform consists of an underground enclosure in the shape of a parallelepipedal concrete steel tank made of a floor plate () and four side walls (), inside the tank there being a parallelepipedal structure () provided, at the top, with a metal cover () on which some waste supply turrets () are located, the wastes passing therethrough to get into some containers () with rollers placed at the bottom of the parallelepipedal structure () which rests onto the underground tank, in the four corners, on the end of the rods of some hydraulic cylinders (), a guiding system being placed to guide the up and down movements of the parallelepipedal structure () and to ensure stability thereof, the said guiding system consisting of eight units placed in the four corners of the structure (), each unit comprising a metal contact roller () running on a shaft () supported by a fork piece () wherein a rod () is mounted to axially move in a sleeve () fixed on the perimetral support of a platform (), and a calibrated helical spring () which resiliently takes over any possible discontinuity in the up and down movement of the structure (), as well as the possible effects due to the dilation of the structure () which are likely to occur in hot days, while for the elimination of water which accidentally got into the underground tank, a submersible flap valve pump () is provided in the underground tank to automatically discharge the water accumulated in the underground tank and to convey it, through a connection () towards the exterior, to a sewage system.</p> |
