According to the present invention, a muscle relaxation apparatus comprises: a base body which has a back support unit and a hip support unit, both supporting the back and heap portions, respectively, of a user who is lying; and a cervical vertebral muscle relaxation unit which is installed at the base body and relaxes muscles around the cervical vertebrae of the user who is lying; the cervical vertebral muscle relaxation unit comprising: a support structure, a cervical vertebral support unit, and a left-right rotary motor, wherein the support structure has a contact surface which is flat and faces upward, and the cervical vertebral support unit has: a central shaft extending outward In the radial direction from a first rotary axis line, at the center, perpendicular to the contact surface; a rotary body coupled rotatably to the central shaft; a bevel gear unit; and a neck support unit supporting the neck of the user, wherein the central shaft is rotatable leftward or rightward around the first rotary axis line by the left-right rotary motor (150); the rotary comes in contact with the contact surface to roll as the central shaft rotates; the bevel gear unit has a ring gear whose center is fixed to the central shaft and two pinion gears which are placed at the opposite sides with the central shaft placed therebetween, are coupled ratatably to the rotary body and interact with the ring gear; and the neck support unit is coupled rotatably to the two pinion gears and has two neck supporters supporting the opposite sides, respectively, of the neck of the user. |
