<p>This invention provides an electrical junction box that has a case that has an opening through which wires can be routed, wherein when no wires are routed through said opening, ingress of water through said opening is prevented. This electrical junction box has a case (1), a wire routing opening (3) is formed in a vertical outer wall (2) of said case (1), and a wire routing wall (5) that covers said opening (3) and extends vertically along said outer wall (2) is provided. The outer wall (2) and the wire routing wall (5) form a tubular space. The top end (5a) of the wire routing wall (5) is higher up than the top end (3a) of the opening (3), making the top part of the tubular space into a cul-de-sac-shaped space. As such, during high-pressure washing with no wires routed through the opening (3), even if water enters the tubular space from the bottom part thereof, said water is directed downwards by the cul-de-sac-shaped space at the top and expelled from an exit at the bottom.</p> |
