PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To update a result of transmission of broadcast transmission of FAX with re-transmission to an address having failed to receive the FAX transmission, so as to perform display easily understandable for a user.SOLUTION: When information on the instructions for broadcast transmission for FAX transmission to a plurality of addresses is transmitted, and an acquired result of the transmission indicates that FAX transmission to at least one of the addresses has failed, an image processing apparatus displays a transmission result that indicates the failure of the broadcast transmission, after information on the instructions for FAX re-transmission to the address of a re-transmission object having failed to receive the FAX transmission has been transmitted to the image forming apparatus, acquires a result of the FAX transmission to the address of the re-transmission object according to the information on the instructions for FAX re-transmission, and when the result of the FAX transmission to the address of the re-transmission object indicates that the FAX re-transmission has succeeded, updates the result of the broadcast transmission after the re-transmission from failure to success. |
