1. An image sensor in which a first chip and a second chip are stacked comprising:
a pixel unit in which a plurality of pixels are two-dimensionally arranged; a plurality of output lines each configured to output a pixel signal from the pixel unit; and an analog-digital converter provided for each of the plurality of output lines, the analog-digital converter comprising a first reference signal generation unit configured to generate a first reference signal, a first comparison unit configured to compare a signal level of a pixel signal output to a first output line of the plurality of output lines with a signal level of the first reference signal, a first counter configured to count until the signal level of the pixel signal coincides with the signal level of the first reference signal compared by the first comparison unit, a second reference signal generation unit configured to generate a second reference signal different from the first reference signal, a second comparison unit configured to compare a signal level of a pixel signal output to a second output line adjacent to the first output line of the plurality of output lines with a signal level of the second reference signal, and a second counter configured to count until the signal level of the pixel signal coincides with the signal level of the second reference signal compared by the second comparison unit, wherein the pixel unit is arranged in the first chip, and the analog-digital converter is arranged in the second chip. |
