The invention provides a table items addressing method, a switch and a controller based on a flow table. The method includes: the switch receives a message; the switch matches the message based on a front flow table; after successful match, the switch sends storage index information with the message to a lower flow table based on a writing storage index instruction comprised in the successful matched flow table items, and the storage index information corresponds to the flow table items of the lower flow table and the writing storage index instruction is sent by the controller; the switch directly addresses, in the lower flow table, flow table items corresponding to the storage index information based on the storage index information. |
