The invention relates to an actuating device for a clutch of a motor vehicle, comprising a hydraulic master cylinder having a cylinder housing and a piston displaceably mounted in the cylinder housing, and comprising a supporting element formed in one piece with the cylinder housing, the piston being attached to a release lever in such a way that pivoting the release lever relative to the supporting element effects a displacement of the piston in the cylinder housing, and wherein the supporting element has at least one supporting surface located in the fixing plane which, in an operating state, is supported on a mating surface fixed to a motor vehicle frame, wherein the cylinder housing of the master cylinder is arranged on the side of the fixing plane facing the piston, between the fixing plane and the release lever. |
