Provided is an automatic welding machine comprising: a welding torch (52) that is mounted to a link actuation device (1) that is installed on a stand (50); and linear actuators (55, 56) that have one or more axes and that cause the link actuation device (1) to advance and retreat with respect to the stand (50). The link actuation device (1) connects a tip-side link hub (3) to which the welding torch (52) is mounted to a base end-side link hub (2) on the side on which the stand (50) is installed via three or more sets of link mechanisms (4) such that it possible to change the orientation of the tip-side link hub (3). Each link mechanism (4) comprises base end-side and tip-side end link members (5, 6) and a central link member (7). An automatic welding machine that has a compact configuration and that makes it possible to quickly perform fine movement with a high degree of precision is achieved by providing an actuator (20) for changing orientation that changes the orientation of the tip-side link hub (3) with respect to the base end-side link hub (2) in a discretionary manner in two or more sets of the link mechanisms (4).
