FFPNG1 GENE-SPECIFIC PRIMER AND METHOD FOR DETECTION OF BAKANAE DISEASE USING THE SAME

The present invention relates to: a Fusarium fujikuroi PNG1 (FfPNG1) gene specific primer set; and a method for detecting bakanae disease of rice. According to the present invention, progress of bakanae disease of rice can be quantified by using the primer and a probe which are capable of specifically detecting the FfPNG1 gene existing in a genome of a Fusarium fujikuroi. Therefore, the method of the present invention can be advantageously used as a molecular biology method for diagnosing bakanae disease of rice.
