PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust heat recovery unit and a power system capable of achieving more efficient heat recovery.SOLUTION: An exhaust heat recovery unit for recovering heat of exhaust gas discharged from an engine that burns fuel, includes: a first heat exchanger arranged in an engine exhaust pipe guiding the exhaust gas, and implementing heat exchange with the exhaust gas in the engine exhaust pipe; a second heat exchanger arranged downstream of the first heat exchanger in a flow direction of the exhaust gas, and implementing heat exchange with the exhaust gas in the engine exhaust pipe; and a short pass mechanism arranged between the first heat exchanger and the second heat exchanger, decreasing temperature of the exhaust gas, allowing short pass of the exhaust gas through a temperature range in which sulfuric acid concentration of the exhaust gas is equal to or higher than a threshold concentration. |
