PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a frequency in which periodic signals cannot be synchronized between a master unit and a slave unit.SOLUTION: A periodic signal acquisition part acquires a first periodic signal. A wireless time synchronization part wirelessly communicates with a signal generation device that outputs a second periodic signal in accordance with phase information, and synchronizes a reference time with the signal generation device. A reference time storage part updates the reference time that can be synchronized with the signal generation device by the wireless time synchronization part. A phase determination part then acquires from the reference time storage part a sample time in timing when a periodic signal is above or below a specific level, and determines phase information relating to a phase of the first periodic signal on the basis of the acquired sample time and period information about a period of the first periodic signal. A wireless transmission part wirelessly transmits the phase information to the signal generation device.
