<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a nipple pack material for livestock in which (a) film-forming ability is high, (b) the adhesion to the nipple surface is large while having superior elasticity, (c) a mechanical strength capable of sufficiently enduring impact caused after mounting a pack is provided, particularly, even if a water-kneaded material is a material of low viscosity in high water content having superior coatability for the nipple of the livestock, the gelatinized substance superior in the mechanical strength can be obtained, and (d) elasticity is hard to be lost by drying and the maintenance property of the superior mechanical strength is superior.SOLUTION: A livestock nipple pack material is characterized by containing (A) alginate, (B) a gelling reaction agent, and (C) non-reducing sugar. Preferably, it is a gelling material containing a trehalose, and the (A) alginate is a material in which the M/G ratio being a mole fraction of aβ-D mannuronic acid toα-L guluronic acid is in a range of 0.4-0.7.</p> |
