The module (10) comprises: an oblong structure (12); an optical apparatus (14) associated with the oblong structure (12) for facing a segment arranged inside a body cavity of a patient; and an actuating device (16), for controlling the position of the oblong structure (12) so as to orient the optical apparatus (14) in the body cavity. The oblong structure (12) has a proximal portion (18) and an end portion (20), which is deformable, so as to tend to remain in and elastically return to a bent condition, in which it is normally flexed. The actuating device (16) comprises a pusher member (22; 22'), which moves in a guided manner relative to the oblong structure (12) and is suited to act upon the end portion (20), so as to angularly move it from the bent condition towards a substantially straight condition.
